Hannu Rokka appointed as CEO of Forte Netservices Oy

The Board of Directors of Forte Netservices Oy has appointed Masse Ervasti as Chairman of the Board since 16.6.2010. CTO Hannu Rokka has been appointed as the company's new CEO starting 1.7.2010. Aki Rahunen will continue CFO's duties and is responsible for the company's finance.


Focus on strengthening the core business and enhancing service capability

Forte's goal is to become a leading MSP (Managed Service Provider) of high availability data communication and security services in Finland. Company is valued of expertise, knowledge and service capability. Forte will focus on increasing resources on all service area by the end of this year.

As a new service area, according to customers' needs, Forte will start to provide consulting services of data communication and data security architecture.

In addition Forte will strengthen providing local (based on customer premises) resources for Finnish customers operating in Russia, particularly Moscow and St. Petersburg economic areas. Logistics operations and delivery capability will also be further developed throughout the whole Russian territory.

Service portfolio will be extended to enable Forte to take responsibility of monitoring all ICT services (including third party) availability and to strengthen customer's service management.
