A Finnish IT-services provider Forte Netservices has expanded its cooperation with CA Technologies. Forte who has been using CA Technologies Service Assurance solutions to monitor its IT services, has now leveraged that knowledge and positive experience to develop a new cloud offering for its clients built on CA Technologies software.
Forte Netservices offers IT-security and network services to companies on a retainer basis. The new offering launched by Forte Netservices is using CA NetQoS and CA eHealth Performance Manager to offer their clients network and IT infrastructure performance management capabilities as cloud services. This results in a cost-efficient and more flexible solution as the client no longer needs to purchase dedicated devices or to commit resources to managing and maintaining the systems.

In addition to the new cloud offering for its clients built on CA Technologies software, Forte's data communications and security experts can also take on the responsibility for 24/7 system monitoring and help with configuration and maintenance.

Forte's new cloud-based service may help to provide a clear view for companies' management of the availability of business-supporting applications and network services. A graphic interface also presents how individual applications perform for the end-user. A client company no longer needs to settle with the provider's own reports on how service level commitments have been met. The view also reveals the quality of a user experience as a whole, covering in addition to applications usability also data communication, firewalls, routers and other parts of the system.
With this new service it is easy for IT departments to target correctly its development projects and to make sure that problems are reported promptly to the right partner.
