DNA to strengthen its corporate business through acquisition of Forte Netservices Oy

DNA Ltd acquires Forte Netservices Oy, a leading service provider of outsourced data communication and network security services for enterprise customers. The share transaction wil take effect immediately.

Forte Netservices Oy is a provider of high availability data communication and security services to enterprises and other organisations. The company was founded in 2000 and has seen profitable growth right from the outset. This year, its estimated turnover is 8 million euros. Forte has quickly established a strong position as a trusted partner for large and mid-size companies in managing their global data communication and security services. Forte's services are already used in 60 countries and on six continents. Forte is headquartered in Espoo, Finland with offices in Moscow, St Petersburg and Bangkok.

"With this business acquisition, we will strengthen our corporate business. Forte's strengths include excellent packaging of added-value network services related to data communication and security, corporate network management and high-availability server platforms. Excellent customer satisfaction for service operations is also Forte's strong point. "The new ownership will enable more extensive services to Forte's customers from a single supplier. Our services will be expanded to cover mobile, voice and data services as part of the service portfolio which is developed for Forte's corporate customers. With the added strength of DNA, we will continue to provide our customers with reliable and proactive high-quality service," says Hannu Rokka. He will continue as the CEO of Forte.

Forte Netservices Oy has 37 employees, all of them will continue with the company as before. The acquisition will have no effect on services provided to Forte's customers. Forte Netservices continues to operate as a separate company. The capital investment fund Verdane ETF III and the operating management were the selling parties in the transaction. The transaction price will not be disclosed.
